As a vital member of the Maintenance Team at Nance Staffing, you will play a key role in enhancing our operational reliability, product excellence, and overall plant efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing technical diagrams and documentation, including schematics and manuals;
- Maintaining backup and revision records for control systems and instrumentation;
- Overseeing SCADA devices in an industrial setting;
- Installing, configuring, calibrating, and maintaining various control and measurement instruments;
- Programming and configuring Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC);
- Organizing and procuring PLC control components to ensure effective plant process control;
- Collaborating with IT personnel on network and computer-related tasks;
- Preparing technical reports to document equipment issues and changes;
- Managing projects aimed at implementing improvements;
- Being available on-call to support production requirements;
- Installing and terminating electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections;
- Testing and inspecting instruments and systems to identify faults;
- Repairing, adjusting, and replacing components as necessary;
- Calibrating systems and components;
- Assisting engineering teams with plant design and modifications;
- Maintaining various computer-based control systems;
- Executing scheduled maintenance programs;
- Staying informed about technological advancements in the industry.
The role involves working with a variety of instruments such as transmitters, analyzers, sensors, detectors, signal conditioners, recorders, controllers, and final control elements, which are essential for measuring and controlling variables like pressure, flow, temperature, level, motion, force, and chemical composition.
