Maintenance Controls Specialist

At Vodastra, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Controls Technician to enhance process reliability, product quality, and overall plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and standards, to ensure accurate and efficient maintenance.
- Maintain backup and revision documentation for control systems and instrumentation, ensuring seamless transitions and updates.
- Manage SCADA devices in an industrial environment, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain control and measurement instrumentation, including pneumatic, analog, and digital systems.
- Configure and program PLCs and PACs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Order and organize PLC control components, streamlining maintenance and repair processes.
- Collaborate with IT staff on network and computer activities, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer.
- Prepare technical reports and manage projects for equipment changes and improvements, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Perform installation and termination of electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Inspect, test, and diagnose faults in instruments and systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Calibrate components and assist with plant design, modification, and hazard analysis, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Proven experience with PLC logic and programming, especially Allen Bradley PLCs, is essential.
- Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams is crucial for effective maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional time management are necessary for meeting deadlines and resolving complex issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills is essential for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Experience in lean manufacturing practices is a plus, as it demonstrates a commitment to efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to be on call to support production needs is essential for ensuring seamless operations.
