We are a reputable medical practice seeking a skilled Credentialing Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage new and renewal licensing and credentialing for healthcare providers
  • Process applications to insurance companies, including workers' compensation
  • Stay up-to-date on regulations and requirements from agencies such as PECOS, OIG, and DEA
  • Collect and verify documents necessary for credentialing
  • Maintain effective communication with insurance provider relations
  • Follow established credentialing checklists for providers and other sources
  • Ensure visual acuity to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification preferred
  • Minimum two years of credentialing experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
