- Implement plans of care and make referrals as needed to ensure effective patient care.
- Teaching and Education
- Provide individualized teaching to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Use evidence-based practice to inform teaching and education.
- Communication and Teamwork
- Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with healthcare team members to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
- Documentation and Quality Improvement
- Accurately and efficiently document patient information to ensure effective communication and care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, currently licensed in the State of New York, or permittee.
- Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
- Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
