We offer advanced academic classes, cultural enrichment opportunities, and leadership training to prepare students for exceptional educational institutions where they can realize their full potential.

The Chief of Staff is responsible for ensuring the overall smooth operation of our organization. This position oversees the Executive Leadership Team and serves as a strategic partner to the President + CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and represent the organization at events.

• Manage the Executive Leadership Team, including the VP of Finance & Administration, VP of Programs & Guidance, and Senior Director of Development.

• Ensure oversight, management, and success of student and family-facing work, including records and intellectual assets.

• Oversee the growth plan for College Scholars and provide status reports to the board and funders as needed.

• Provide coverage and completion of leadership and management responsibilities in the absence of a Vice President or Director.

• In partnership with the President + CEO, ensure quick and productive attention to SEEDS' priorities and concerns.

• Monitor and advance the strategy and plans for growth and expansion of SEEDS Programs, including recruitment, admissions, programs, placement, guidance, and curriculum materials.

• Ensure smooth functioning of the Executive Leadership Team through coaching, feedback, and guidance.

• Direct HR functions, including job descriptions, hiring, onboarding, staff development, performance evaluations, and employee handbook revisions.

• Ensure senior staff are aware of their management responsibilities and prepared to be effective managers of their teams.

Requirements:

• BA (required), Master's in related field (a plus)

• A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in organizational management, human resource leadership, or other relevant senior-level experience.

• Must bring experience effectively managing staff and organizational systems, and have a demonstrated ability to oversee complex situations.

• Must have an understanding of operational budgets and financial statements to collaborate with the director of finance.

• Must express a strong belief in the value of a top-notch education.

• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Estimated salary: $130,000 per year.
