Position Summary:

We are in search of a compassionate and committed individual to take on the role of a Floater Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In this versatile position, you will provide essential care and support to our senior clients. This role demands adaptability, dependability, and the readiness to be available as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Support clients in managing their medications by providing reminders and assistance.
  • Monitor clients' health closely and report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and document observations or concerns.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering their well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands.
  • Create a safe and clean environment that promotes clients' overall safety and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Be flexible and available to work at various assigned times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Travel to different locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Adapt to diverse tasks tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Quickly adjust to changing schedules and responsibilities to ensure optimal care.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Hawaii.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exhibit compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Capability to adapt to various tasks and environments.
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential.
