As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our ski and ride school programs, indoor and outdoor facilities, and teaching areas. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a safe and successful season for our guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train coaches to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and maintain high-performing staff through continuous growth and development opportunities.
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment by promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuing education.
- Collaborate with the ski and ride school director, other supervisors, and resort departments to ensure seamless management of the school.
- Work with USSA to certify coaches and manage events.
- Develop and manage a strong team of individuals committed to external and internal customer service.
- Build and maintain relationships with National Governing Bodies, such as USSA.
- Communicate effectively with participant families and schedule events for the season.
- Organize and assemble Race Organizing Committees to host high-level events.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience coaching, teaching, or competition involvement.
- 2 years of employee management experience.
- Valid driver's license and USSA coach certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, PeopleSoft, Coupa, and Concur.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, with Spanish proficiency a plus.
- Must be able to ski or snowboard at Level 7 or better.
