Material Handler Lead

As a Material Handler Lead at OSRAM, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the shipping, receiving, and handling of materials. This position requires strong leadership skills, as you will be responsible for leading less experienced associates while performing all the same duties as a Grade 6 Material Handler.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and oversee the shipping and receiving of materials, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Oversee the storage of materials, following instructions and issuing receipts as necessary.
- Responsible for verifying documents and training less experienced material handlers on an ongoing basis.
- Interact daily with Engineers, production control, and production departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Drive a truck for deliveries from OSRAM to Norton Warehouse and other facilities as needed, receiving incoming deliveries for both truck and container.
- Have in-depth knowledge of material staging, placement, and pull for shipments.
- Must successfully pass an Industrial Lift Physical and Drug Test.
- Must be tested and maintain a valid lift operation license/certification.
- Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and time-oriented.
- Must show the ability to train others effectively.
- Must have a valid NH CDL DOT license.
- 2-3 years of related experience preferred.
