Overview:

The Research Scientist II will play a pivotal role in our Quality Management Systems Program, focusing on the development of high-quality documentation to support regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in daily technical documentation tasks with a strong emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Proofread, prepare, create, review, edit, and update Quality and Technical Documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Design Control Documentation, Technical Reports, and Risk Management Documentation.
  3. Maintain awareness of quality implications related to product performance and potential device defects within the scope of responsibility.
  4. Possibly supervise small teams, guiding staff in daily operations and assisting in problem-solving efforts.
  5. Exhibit technical expertise in general laboratory techniques and conduct experiments supporting existing products.
  6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including scientists, researchers, and technicians.
  7. Analyze experimental data and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrate professional conduct in interactions with internal and external partners, fostering productive relationships.
  9. Adhere to established business policies while adapting to the dynamic nature of the industry.
  10. Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a research development environment. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in technical writing and documentation processes, particularly in the context of human in vitro diagnostic tests.

Strong teamwork and communication skills, combined with problem-solving and analytical abilities, are essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. The ability to produce high-quality documentation within established timelines is crucial.
