Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nocturnist to join our team in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) of the Emergency Department at Denver Health. As a Nocturnist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and evaluate the medical condition of patients, making decisions regarding treatment changes under the supervision of a physician and in collaboration with other disciplines and standards of care.
  • Refers patients to specialized services as needed.
  • Completes required documentation legibly, thoroughly, and in a timely manner, preparing and maintaining complete and accurate charts, case files, and records.
  • Participates in clinical education of healthcare students as seen fit by the supervising medical staff.
  • May be assigned to perform leadwork and/or involvement in clinical coordination, health station management, or responsibility for special projects.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree Required.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required.
