In collaboration with the management team, this individual is responsible for the continuous evaluation of the quality of patient care services provided within the unit.
Responsibilities of the CNC:
Oversees and coordinates all functions during designated shifts.
Acts as a resource for staff members and aids in the necessary education of nursing personnel.
Assumes accountability for the overall quality of nursing care delivered during their duty hours.Makes informed decisions regarding activities based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in partnership with the management team.

Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in the specialty of the unit, along with leadership or management experience, is preferred.
