Chipright is seeking a highly motivated and experienced mmWave Terminal System Research engineer to work on an exciting project with one of our Swedish clients.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for talented engineers to work within a team of highly experienced engineers on exciting technology.
Responsibilities- Research on 5G architecture and key enabling technologies, and analyze requirements
- Find innovative and cost-efficient solutions for current and future wireless networks and terminals
- Evaluate the performance of new ideas/architectures by simulation
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Advanced MS or PhD in Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent background with several years of experience
- Deep knowledge about multi-antenna systems
- Good understanding of antenna systems, channel models and wireless propagation
- Good understanding of radio systems and radio system components
- Experience in system architecture or solution design, know how to identify system requirement and how to do top-down analyze
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with hardware experts, antenna experts, algorithm experts and system experts
- Ability to work in a team and possess good interpersonal and communications skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
