Environmental Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team at Elucidate Staffing. This role involves conducting environmental field investigations and assisting in the preparation of technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with environmental staff to perform site investigations and remediation, from workplans to final remedial documents.
- Conduct fieldwork under the direction of a senior scientist to investigate contaminated soil, sediment, and groundwater.
- Oversee subconsultants, including drillers, excavators, and laboratories, during soil boring advancement, monitoring well installation, and soil and groundwater remediation.
- Conduct municipal, State, and Federal file reviews to compile data and information for property investigations or remediation projects.
- Perform Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments and NJDEP Preliminary Assessments.
- Assist environmental staff with report preparation, including reviewing laboratory analytical data, interpreting, and tabulating data, and preparing tables and soil boring logs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, or a related physical/natural science.
- At least 1 year of environmental consulting experience.
- Experience performing Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Environmental Site Investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling.
- Working knowledge of NJDEP Rules, Regulations, and Guidance documents, including the Field Sampling Procedures Manual and the Technical Requirements for Site Remediation.
- OSHA 40-Hour Training.
