Core Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently load linens into washing machines and dryers.
  • Accurately measure and add cleaning agents as required.
  • Operate laundry equipment with precision.
  • Regularly clean lint filters in dryers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Transfer washed linens to dryers promptly and manage subsequent loads.
  • Secure all laundry and storage areas before ending shifts.
  • Sort and pre-treat linens for stains or damage.
  • Maintain an accurate count of discarded items.
  • Neatly fold and organize towels, sheets, and other linens.
  • Keep the laundry area and storeroom clean and organized.
  • Process and manage damaged linens appropriately.
  • Ensure adequate linen supplies are available for each floor.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a laundry environment is required.
  • Familiarity with laundry equipment is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Experience in customer service is beneficial.
