Position Overview:
At Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to a secure and stable living environment. If you possess a compassionate nature and a desire to assist individuals facing homelessness or housing instability, we are looking for a dedicated Housing Case Manager to join our Springfield team. In this role, you will be instrumental in connecting individuals with the resources they need to achieve stable housing and self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture relationships with clients and their families, providing guidance and support to help them achieve self-sufficiency.
- Deliver comprehensive case management services focused on individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
- Advocate for clients by collaborating with other service providers, community organizations, and faith-based groups to facilitate necessary referrals.
- Conduct regular case management sessions, ensuring consistent communication through both in-person meetings and phone consultations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including case notes and housing plans, to track client progress.
- Participate in community meetings as directed by your supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission of the organization.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work (BSW) or a related human services field.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in case management with homeless or at-risk populations.
- Familiarity with social services and community resources available to families.
- Skills in motivational interviewing and client engagement.
