Job Description

A waste management client of Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to oversee their Upstate NY locations. This individual will be responsible for managing three facilities - Chester, Chestnut Ridge, and Sloatsburg - as well as a team of 10+ direct reports. The successful candidate will be responsible for the growth and development of their team members, ensuring facility goals are met, and implementing new processes to increase productivity and efficiency.


Safety is a top priority, and the ideal candidate will have a strong safety-first mentality to ensure the well-being of employees and citizens interacting with the organization. Additionally, the Director will collaborate with the VP on budget, P&L, and finance-related tasks.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in an operational leadership role
  • Experience working in the transportation industry, with knowledge of DOT laws and compliance
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Waste management industry experience is a plus
