About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Guest Experience Guide to join our team at FlyOver Attractions by Pursuit Collection. As a Guest Experience Guide, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for our guests, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Facilitating the Guest Experience: Ensure that our guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience, from arrival to departure, by providing accurate information and assistance as needed.
  • Photography and Merchandise: Capture high-quality photos of our guests and provide information on our photo packages and merchandise.
  • Queue Management and Crowd Control: Organize large groups of guests into correct queues, calculate and communicate accurate wait time information, and direct guests around the attraction.
  • Ride and Facility Safety: Ensure that all ride and facility safety precautions are met, and inform the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Lead by example, ensuring that FlyOver Attractions by Pursuit Collection operating procedures, safety of guests and team members, and service standards are consistently maintained by all team members.
  • Communication and Radio Protocol: Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol, and assist with evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures in the event of an emergency.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge with guests about Navy Pier, Chicago, and other tourist attractions around the venue.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, completing various tasks in different roles.
  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
  • Guest Service Skills: Provide outstanding guest service skills, ensuring that guests have an exceptional and memorable experience.
  • Independence and Motivation: Demonstrate independence and motivation, with a consistent high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment, and able to lift loads of up to 30 pounds as necessary.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Possess a solid knowledge base about Chicago and the local area, and experience in the tourism/hospitality industry is an asset.
