Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Special Education ARD Facilitator to join our team. As an ARD Facilitator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our students with disabilities receive the support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities- Schedule and coordinate Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and notify parents of the meeting schedule.
- Ensure federal and state timelines are met for ARD Committee meetings, including requests for additional assessments and required timelines.
- Write and monitor ARD paperwork and submit by compliance due dates.
- Complete required documentation and reports for the special education department by due dates.
- Maintain communication between assessment personnel and related service providers.
- Collaborate with special and general education personnel to ensure student accommodations and instructional concerns are addressed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Special Education certification.
- Three years teaching experience, including experience teaching students with disabilities.
- Satisfactory outcome of a background check.
- Unwavering commitment to KIPP Texas mission and students.
- Strong understanding of special education law and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff.
