As an Electronic Health Record Support Specialist, your primary role will be to deliver technical support and assistance to users of our EHR system, Epic. You will act as a key resource for ongoing support, troubleshooting, and training, ensuring that the EHR system and associated applications are utilized effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Address user inquiries, resolve issues, and troubleshoot software or user-related challenges in a timely manner.
- Facilitate training sessions and assist in the creation of training materials to empower users in navigating the EHR system.
- Work collaboratively with the IT department to escalate and resolve system-related concerns.
- Manage a ticketing system to document and track support requests.
- Contribute to a knowledge base that records specific issues related to the applications.
- Experience with EHR systems and health information technologies.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience) (Preferred).
- Familiarity with computer hardware, operating systems, and standard software applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with end users.
- Ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Professional demeanor and a collaborative spirit.
- Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
