Position Overview:
The Flexographic Printing Press Technician is responsible for executing all tasks related to setup, maintenance, and production operations.

This role requires ensuring that quality standards are upheld and production timelines are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate flexographic printing presses according to manufacturer specifications.
- Print designs or text on various materials, including flexible plastic film and paper.
- Familiarize yourself with all documented procedures relevant to your responsibilities.
- Follow the production schedule diligently.
- Interpret job orders, mount dies, and install print cylinders.
- Adjust press settings for optimal performance.
- Inspect printed materials for quality, noting any imperfections.
- Monitor production quality and maintain required samples.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Record production data for job costing.
- Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to company safety regulations and work rules.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results.

Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for calculations and data interpretation.
- Ability to read and analyze technical documents.
- Must pass a color vision test.
- Good manual dexterity and computer skills.
- Strong reasoning and judgment abilities.
- Capacity to meet multiple deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in flexographic printing.
- Experience with hot stamping, rotary screen, or cold foil is preferred.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
