At Flex Technology Group, we're building a team of skilled professionals who share our passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a Printer and Copier Set-up Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers' printing and copying needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in new customer onboarding, including tagging, inspecting, and cleaning customer-owned printing and copying devices.
  • Diagnose current customer equipment, identify parts needed, and determine device field reliability.
  • Reset maintenance counts and pull configuration information.
  • Record pertinent information about devices.
  • Inspect basic parts, including rollers, print quality, and paper trays.
  • Order necessary high-mortality parts to maintain manufacturer specifications.
  • Mark device locations on a map using proper ID tags.
  • Take before and after pictures on company phones for exceptionally dirty or broken printers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills and comfort talking with all levels of client end-users.
  • Ideal background in printer repair or technical experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% out of state and ability to travel on short notice.
  • Reliable car for local travel in your metro area, with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently with hustle and urgency.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, with experience gathering information to solve problems.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs, bend down, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, work at floor level, and walk long distances.
