Job Title: Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at PowerHouse. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, safety, and quality of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Study project manuals, job specifications, and construction drawings to ensure timely start and finish, safety, quality of work, and subcontractor performance.
  • Manage and work alongside construction crews in the installation and/or repair of various construction tasks, including concrete, asphalt paving, structural steel, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and other tasks as needed.
  • Ensure blueprints and plans are followed precisely, evaluate risks that impact successful delivery of blueprint intent, and provide daily reporting on project status with photos through project management applications.
  • Successfully coordinate and facilitate the RFI process, interface with local permitting authorities to ensure compliance, and coordinate required inspections including permit closeout.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, operate equipment such as Forklifts and Scissor Lifts, and travel a minimum of 10 weeks at a time across the U.S or as determined by the Project Manager.
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role and Five (5) years' experience in a relevant trade.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications for reporting purposes, experience with ProCore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build is a plus.
  • Must pass an MVR, background, and drug test.
