Job Overview

The Retail Sales Representative serves as a key representative of the Cox brand, acting as the primary liaison for both prospective and current customers. In a Third-Party Retailer environment, this role is pivotal in assisting customers throughout their purchasing journey, from decision-making to installation and education on Cox's product and accessory range, all while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Demonstrate and explain product features and benefits, tailoring suggestions to meet customer needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with purchases and resolving any issues while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Implement promotional campaigns aimed at enhancing brand recognition and achieving sales goals.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and visually appealing sales area at all times.
  • Engage in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations to foster customer loyalty.
  • Continuously update knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training.
  • Support fellow sales agents as necessary to ensure optimal customer service.

Shift/Hours

10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with varying shifts throughout the week, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr (plus commission). Enjoy the opportunity for up to three bonuses based on tenure with the company, distributed as follows:

  • $300 after 30 days
  • $300 after 90 days
  • $400 after 180 days

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Preferred experience of 1 or more years in a related field (Sales, Retail Sales, etc.).
  • Ability to meet established sales and customer experience goals.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Proficient in computer usage with a capacity to learn about communication products and services.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work at various retail locations.
  • Proven track record of high individual performance in sales and retention.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products using a solutions-oriented approach.
