Job Title: BIM Junior Specialist

This is a hourly, non-exempt position with a competitive salary range of $19.00-$25.00 dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Job Summary:

DeSimone Consulting Engineers is seeking a highly skilled BIM Junior Specialist to provide competency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support the development of planning, engineering, construction documents, and models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate BIM models, working drawings, and sketches as directed using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Assist in preparing LOD 300 models, layouts, and drawings of concrete, concrete masonry unit, steel, and timber structures.
  • Review design and confer with engineering staff to verify or resolve details not completely defined.
  • Input required commands to redesign, modify, or edit existing design under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma plus one-two years of specialized technical drafting and math training.
  • Minimum one (1) year of BIM experience required.
  • General knowledge of the Revit Platform.
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented.
  • Build and concurrently maintain a minimum of 1-3 BIM models in design.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal BIM training preferred.
