Job Summary

The Lemoine Company is seeking a highly skilled BIM/VDC Specialist to join our team. As a BIM/VDC Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our construction project teams in the field. You will be responsible for evaluating clash detections, setting up and managing BIM Coordination Reviews, and working with project teams to develop and complete BIM Execution Plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project specifications and identify requirements related to BIM.
  • Model building systems in Revit.
  • Execute complex laser scanning projects that involve point cloud collection and post-processing.
  • Assist with model-based layout.
  • Conduct drone flights for site documentation and photogrammetry analysis.
  • Conduct a QC analysis of the systems that were virtually coordinated when installed.
  • Assist project teams with BIM-based analytic tools such as Power BI.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an associate's degree.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Sprinkler Systems for buildings.
  • Some experience with laser scanning equipment and use of point cloud data.
  • Willingness to earn an FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Pilot's License.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related discipline.
  • Previous BIM/VDC responsibilities.
  • Experience as a mechanical designer focusing on building construction.
  • Proficient with one or more of the following: Autodesk Navisworks, Revit Systems, Revit Architecture, and Auto CAD.
