About the Role

Mead & Hunt, a leading professional services consulting firm, is seeking a skilled Technology Systems Designer to join their team.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing communication, security, and audio-visual infrastructure for new and renovation projects
  • Collaborating with clients, construction staff, and project team members to ensure seamless project execution
  • Reviewing reports, specifications, plans, schedules, and studies to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Developing construction cost estimates and performing construction administration tasks
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Regular travel will be required to meet with clients and project teams

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification or the ability to obtain at least one certification within two years of hire
  • A combination of education and/or experience totaling seven years of relevant experience in building design or construction (technology systems preferred)


The successful candidate will have experience with:

  • Designing technology systems for new and/or building renovation projects
  • Designing security electronic systems
  • Participating in technical meetings with clients and project teams
  • Designing low voltage and/or electrical systems
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software
  • Experience with Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) and American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification or related registrations or certifications


Mead & Hunt offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $120,000, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program.
