Job Summary
Manage the financial integrity and operational efficiency of a manufacturing operations. Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, prepare financial statements, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide accurate financial insights.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, ensuring the company's financial health.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts to drive business growth.
  • Monitor and report on budget variances to ensure timely adjustments.
  • Oversee the cost accounting functions, including standard cost development, variance analysis, and inventory valuation, to optimize financial performance.
  • Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to minimize expenses.
  • Analyze production costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with internal and external audits to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance ERP systems and other financial tools to support business growth.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements
  • Must have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost accounting, and financial management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
