Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Positive Development for Youth & Families. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Clinicians to provide a comprehensive and trans-disciplinary approach to care for children with autism.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to determine each child's current needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct speech and language services to children using a developmental approach, working towards specific goals and strengthening developmental foundations.
  • Monitor progress, record session notes, and communicate with the team and parents.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision, and provide mentoring and support to new team members.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and active state license.
  • Spanish speaking required.
  • Strong communication skills, passion for working with children on the autism spectrum, and ability to work collaboratively on a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work in an outpatient clinic setting.
