Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and Mental Health Clinicians to provide a comprehensive and trans-disciplinary approach to children and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial Speech Language Pathology evaluations for each child, in consultation with the Senior SLP Clinician.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including identifying specific speech and language related goals.
  • Provide direct speech and language services to autistic children, utilizing a developmental approach to work towards each child's goals and strengthen developmental foundations.
  • Monitor each child's progress, record session notes, and communicate progress to other members of the team, including parents.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and support to new SLPs as they join the team.
Requirements
  • Speech-Language Pathology license in the State of New Jersey.
  • Spanish speaking, required.
  • Strong desire to learn the Developmental Model through training, observation, and reflection.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum.
  • Ability to work seamlessly and respectfully on a trans-disciplinary team.
  • Flexible schedule.
Education and Certification
  • Master's in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Active state SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • ASHA certification.
