The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers, radiologic technologists, and patients through various responsibilities, including patient management, organization, and effective communication. This role requires precision and high-quality execution of tasks while embodying our mission to redefine value and access to quality care.

Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of a Medical Assistant Program is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience under a licensed healthcare supervisor within the last 3 years is preferred.
- Certification: CPOE certification must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire if Medical Assistant Certification is not held at the time of hiring.
- High School Diploma: Required.
Work Experience:
- Medical Assistant experience is preferred for graduates of a Medical Assistant Program.
- Alternatively, 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience under a licensed healthcare supervisor within the last 3 years may be accepted.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- One of the following certifications is required or must be obtained within 15 months of hire:
- CMA - Certified Medical Assistant
- CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- RMA - Registered Medical Assistant
- NCMA - National Certified Medical Assistant
- NRCMA - Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant
- ARMA - American Registry of Medical Assistants
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in medical office management systems and procedures.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Service-oriented with excellent social perceptiveness.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and patient management software.
