Job Overview

The Murphco of FL is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Room Cleaners to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in guest accommodations.
  2. Prepare and organize cleaning supplies on the maid cart each day, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  3. Strip beds of linens and pillowcases daily, replacing soiled items as necessary.
  4. Make beds with fresh linens, ensuring all areas are tidy; collect and dispose of trash; clean mirrors and surfaces; dust and polish furniture; and ensure proper arrangement of furnishings.
  5. Vacuum guest rooms thoroughly.
  6. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, toilets, and floors, using appropriate cleaning agents.
  7. Restock supplies, towels, and amenities, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
  8. Communicate completed room status to the housekeeping supervisor.
  9. Report any maintenance issues or unusual conditions in rooms to the head of housekeeping promptly.
  10. Perform additional tasks as directed by the head of housekeeping or as needed based on operational demands.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. High school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Must possess a positive attitude and a strong commitment to guest service.
  3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
