PRIMARY DUTIES

The Project Leader will:

- Engage collaboratively and cooperatively with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Partners, and clients.

- Uphold honesty and integrity, acting as an empowered project leader within the organization.

- Navigate both favorable and challenging situations while managing multiple projects at various stages, including bidding and proposals.

- Maintain a customer-centric approach, which is vital to our business ethos.

- Be driven by schedules, demonstrating a strong commitment to completing tasks on time and within budget, while fostering positive and collaborative relationships across all departments.

- Earn the respect of colleagues and clients, motivating teams towards achieving shared goals.

This position encompasses both new product development and ongoing project management tasks, driven by customer demand for vehicle-specific product innovation, qualification, certification, production, and aftermarket services.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a non-technical field with equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership capabilities through mentoring and managing diverse teams.
  • Successful track record of collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Product Development, and Contracts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and organizational competencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and comprehend multi-level BOMs.
  • Highly adaptable and capable of multitasking in a low-volume, high-mix environment typical of military, aerospace, and space sectors.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; dual citizenship is not permitted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 10 years of project management experience in aerospace-related initiatives.
  2. In-depth knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of ITAR and Import/Export Compliance.
  4. Expertise in Microsoft Project, Project Planning, and Estimate to Complete methodologies.
  5. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
  6. Experience in international sales and cross-cultural engagements.
  7. Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
