Job Summary:

The Clinical Systems Analyst 3 position at Mercy Health supports and maintains software applications that impact clinical areas, such as ambulatory clinics, IP hospital departments, pharmacy, and physician documentation. This role is responsible for highly complex applications management, providing consultative advice to departmental and organizational leadership, and guiding lower level employees within the department. Additionally, at level 3, the individual typically coordinates projects and is able to successfully lead multiple projects to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business, clinical, and operations leaders to evaluate complex requests, conduct critical thinking, and propose solutions to meet their needs.
• Develop and maintain highly developed communications and negotiation skills to effectively work with all levels of management through Mercy Health.
• Demonstrate an ability to coordinate and manage large, complex projects with proven success.
• Negotiate and build consensus among groups or individuals with diverse interests and function effectively as a team leader in a team environment.
• Perform advanced and complex application support, setting and maintaining timelines to meet the goals of Mercy Health.
• Maintain proficiency in multiple applications and understand the integration and interfaces between the applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or other related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
• 7 years of direct experience as a system analyst required.
• MT(ASCP), CT(ASCP), LPN, Pharmacy Tech, or other similarly recognized certifications required.
• Experience with and demonstrates competence in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to work independently and be result-oriented.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks and project components.
• Ability to lead.
