The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful execution of turnkey projects, including achievement of contractual requirements, customer satisfaction, cost forecasting and control, scheduling, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team to meet internal detailed project schedules for all requirements and for all departments
  • Manage project budgets and identify risk areas that need to be addressed to keep projects within overall budget expectations
  • Monitor schedule and budget performance through various methods, including team meetings, tracking part shortages, and monitoring progress on the assembly floor
  • Manage assembly activity for projects, including working with the team leader to develop an assembly plan, working within schedule and budget, and defining resources required and timing for them
  • Lead team meetings, including weekly project meetings, engineering design review meetings, assembly preparation meetings, ready to ship meetings, installation preparation meetings, and post-mortem meetings
  • Be the point of contact with the customer, communicating status, resolving open issues or conflicts, communicating information between companies, monitoring and controlling activities to avoid scope creep, and addressing commercial change requests
  • Report project status and performance data as required to management and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Travel as required to meet with customers at their facilities
  • Hours as needed to meet the requirements of your projects

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at Ingersoll's facilities
