About the Role

Pasadena Unified School District is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Clerk Typist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our students, staff, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our school district, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist with various clerical tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing documents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including student and staff information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses in office management, secretarial science, or related field desirable.
  • At least two years of full-time clerical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications; ability to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Valid Class C California Driver License may be required.
