About the Role
Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established primary care practice in Norwich, CT.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other health team members or specialists.
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice as designated by protocols and identify problems outside of their scope of practice and refer appropriately to physician.
Requirements
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- APRN (Family, Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or PA training
- 2+ years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistants (PA)
