Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse IV - Niagara County Home Care is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infusion therapy and be knowledgeable in professional nursing principles and practices related to infusion therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to physicians or other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and their families on proper care and treatment

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, college or university
• Licensure and current registration as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York required
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification preferred
• PICC Certification preferred
• CRNI preferred

Working Conditions:

The Registered Nurse IV - Niagara County Home Care may be exposed to unsanitary conditions in some home settings. The nurse must be able to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment. The nurse must also be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
