Job Summary:

Northwell Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Women's Health Nurse Specialist. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a passion for women's health and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Women's Health Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing gynecologic procedures and surgeries. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and outcome-driven results.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individualized care needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Nursing Care and Education: Provide high-quality nursing care and education to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure timely and effective care coordination, minimizing delays and complications.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrate leadership and collaboration skills, mentoring colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • License: Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
  • Experience: Previous Women's health experience highly preferred. Previous experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $67-$67/hour. Northwell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, and paid time off.
