Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Navigator to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Pediatric Oncology Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and coordinating programs to meet the unique needs of our patients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement programs to enhance patient safety and quality of care


• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate patient status and provide education to families and healthcare professionals


• Participate in quality meetings to discuss cases and review clinical outcomes


• Meet the educational needs of families and other healthcare professionals concerning patient care


Requirements:


• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed


• 3-5 years of technical experience and 0-2 years of leadership/management experience required


• Experience in pediatric oncology preferred
