Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist at Northwell Health in New York. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patient's health status and develop individualized care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and implement treatment plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families to promote health and well-being.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, and document patient information accurately.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
Salary: $56.27 - $85.23 per hour, depending on experience.
