Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Custom Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating all spray equipment, operating computers on equipment, spraying and calibrating crop protection products, mixing, loading, and applying crop production products/plant nutritional, performing daily vehicle inspections, handling and delivering bulk and packaged materials, seed and other agriculture inputs, cleaning and maintaining equipment, assisting the mechanic, maintaining application/spray records, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all spray equipment and ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Operate computers on equipment to monitor and control application processes.
  • Spray and calibrate crop protection products to ensure optimal results.
  • Mix, load, and apply crop production products/plant nutritional to meet growers' needs.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Handle and deliver bulk and packaged materials, seed, and other agriculture inputs to growers.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist the mechanic with equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate application/spray records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Agricultural background preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and applicable endorsements required.
  • Current CDL or ability to obtain; we will train the right candidate.
  • Must meet minimum DOT age requirement.
