About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Pexip. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our video communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to video communication.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering, R&D, and Documentation teams to ensure seamless integration of our product.
  • Communicate technical information to customers, explaining complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Identify and recommend optimization tasks to customers to improve their video communication experience.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in post-sales technical support.
  • Strong technical understanding of Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Avaya, Polycom, Zoom, Bluejeans, and other related partners/competitors in the visual collaboration landscape.
  • Good technical understanding of virtualization technologies, e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic atmosphere with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Ability to rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work independently with remote support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience troubleshooting a video conferencing platform or similar technology.
  • Knowledge of SIP, H.323, WebRTC, and related technologies.
