Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked cart at all times, ensuring that all necessary cleaning supplies are readily available.
  • Clean guest rooms for stayovers and checkouts, paying close attention to detail to ensure a high level of quality and cleanliness.
  • Utilize cleaning supplies properly and notify your supervisor when additional supplies are needed to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
  • Advise the supervisor or front desk of room status for clean vacant/dirty rooms, ensuring that all rooms are accurately accounted for and maintained.
  • Report any damage or hazards that are present in guest rooms, such as burned light bulbs, broken furniture, leaks, or any other issues that may impact the safety and comfort of our guests.
  • Follow appropriate entry requirements for guest rooms, ensuring that all rooms are secured and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that guest rooms are secured at all times, with all lights, A/C units, and TVs turned off before leaving for the day.
  • Housekeepers are required to complete laundry or assist with laundry duties as needed, maintaining a clean and organized laundry area.
  • Able to complete work within the required time, meeting productivity and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to pay attention to detail and maintain a high level of quality and cleanliness in all aspects of their work.
  • Looking for team players who are able to communicate effectively with guests and respond to their needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Able to take direction from the Housekeeping Supervisor and work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
