As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing the Creative Curriculum with aspects of the Reggio Emilia curriculum philosophy and providing a nurturing, well-supervised, and safe environment for our preschool children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the Creative Curriculum with aspects of the Reggio Emilia curriculum philosophy.
  • Provide a nurturing, well-supervised, and safe environment for preschool children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, child development director, and other staff.
  • Lead a class successfully with the help of an assistant.
  • Plan lessons effectively to enhance readiness skills in various subject areas.
  • Discipline children in accordance with the school's policy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, associate's degree from an accredited college or university, or CDA.
  • 40-hour HRS course required to be started within 3 months of employment.
  • 10 in-service hours per year of continuing education courses.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to lead a class successfully.
