Job Overview:


The Hotel Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing operational functions and guiding team members in their respective tasks within the hotel, working closely with the General Manager or designated hotel leadership.

This position is essential for ensuring guest satisfaction and the smooth running of hotel operations by providing support to various departments.

The Hotel Operations Coordinator may assist in multiple areas of the property, including:
Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Front Office, and Banquets (as applicable by hotel). Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is required. A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Must possess a valid driver's license for the applicable state.

Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively is essential.

Must be capable of evaluating and selecting among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.


Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations, including effectively managing guest objections and disputes to satisfactory resolutions.


Must demonstrate initiative in job performance, anticipating needs before they arise.

Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Must be adept at addressing workplace challenges, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as necessary.

Ability to assimilate complex information from various sources and adjust or modify it to meet specific needs is required.

Must be effective in listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by colleagues and guests.

Must possess financial acumen and be comfortable with basic arithmetic functions.

Job Duties:
Approach all interactions with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.


Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards, which will vary based on hotel needs.

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty.

Maintain a welcoming and warm demeanor at all times.

Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.


Foster good communication and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the hotel (set an example for other associates and be a team leader).

Monitor all VIP and special guest requests and be familiar with all in-house groups.

Fully understand and execute all relevant phases of the front desk computer system and checklist.

Be knowledgeable about the Property Management System (P.M.S.) used in the hotel.

Oversee and follow up on all cash overages and shortages for servers/baristas/bartenders (as applicable by hotel).

Enforce all Aimbridge Hospitality policies.

Ensure that employees are consistently attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, fellow employees, and other managers.


Assist in preparing staff schedules according to business forecasts while adhering to wage control, productivity standards, and guest service scores.


Support the food and beverage department, front desk operations, and housekeeping department based on volume and needs (as applicable by hotel).

Participate in the training of new hires and current associates regularly.

Assist the Front Office Manager in ensuring that associates comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards (i.e., answering phones, call-backs to guests, guest request log).


Be familiar with emergency procedures and capable of responding to emergency situations by knowing the locations of fire extinguishers and exits.

Assist in monthly inventories and reconciliations.


Promptly address accidents, issues, or guest complaints in the food and beverage department and at the front desk.

Respond to all guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Help maintain productivity levels at or above budgeted standards.

Perform other duties and/or attend meetings or training sessions as required by management.
