Job Overview:
As a Room Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing the cleanliness and condition of guest accommodations. Your duties will include:
  • Documenting the status of cleaned rooms and completing checklists to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
  • Conducting inspections of guest rooms post-cleaning to verify quality.
  • Responding promptly to requests from guests and collaborating with other departments.
  • Following established procedures for entering guest rooms, ensuring safety and privacy.
  • Assisting management with hiring, training, and evaluating housekeeping staff.
  • Adhering to all company policies regarding safety and security, and reporting any maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Engaging with guests to anticipate their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving operational efficiency and quality.
  • Building positive relationships with team members to achieve common goals.

Physical Requirements:
The role requires the ability to:
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance.
  • Push and pull housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces.
  • Stand, walk, kneel, or sit for extended periods.
  • Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, demonstrating fine motor skills.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field.
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required.
  • Certification: None required.
