Plasma Center Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, including proper management of informed consent, AIDS education, and confidential self-exclusion.
- Evaluate and manage donor reactions, which occur at the facility, as outlined in the SOPs.
- Manage donor deferral; reviews test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results per applicable SOPs.
- Initiate and investigate Post Donation Information (PDI).
- Assist the EHS program as required per SOPs or as requested by the EHS Manager.
- Graduate of a recognized educational program.
- Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and work as a team player.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Effective coaching and counseling skills.
We offer a competitive hourly wage range of $32.79, as well as a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. U.S. based employees may also be eligible for short-term incentives and paid volunteer time off.
