Role Responsibilities

The Sanctions Compliance Analyst will play a vital role in supporting Computershare's Corporate Trust and other core services as necessary. This position is primarily responsible for reviewing and investigating transactional alerts against U.S. and international sanction lists, ensuring high-quality work is delivered within strict guidelines.

The Analyst will collaborate across teams within the department and with CCT Compliance to resolve sanctions-related inquiries promptly and accurately.

Key Duties Include:
  • Conducting thorough reviews of accounts and transactions for potential sanctions matches to ensure compliance.
  • Documenting investigations, escalations, and resolutions of sanctions matches for retention and audit purposes.
  • Identifying transactions that may be Blocked or Rejected and performing initial reviews.
  • Gathering relevant supporting documentation for sanctions dispositions.
  • Comparing potential matches against Computershare's client list and liaising with internal departments and financial institutions to resolve matches.
  • Assisting with bank payments and wire clearing, and corresponding with other financial institutions.
  • Supporting the preparation and completion of regulatory and compliance documentation.
  • Assisting with audit or regulatory examination processes.

Qualifications
  • A college degree in a relevant field.
  • Current knowledge of AML, OFAC, and sanctions requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize between conducting sanctions reviews, internal and external correspondence, case documentation, and departmental reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and investigative skills for conducting thorough due diligence on escalated transactions.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to thrive in a high-volume, high-pressure processing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
