Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pathologists with routine laboratory procedures, including tissue preparation, sectioning, and staining.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to troubleshoot issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Pathologists' Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
