Job Overview

About the Role
  • Administer diagnoses, interpret evaluations based on standard techniques, and communicate results to clients and caregivers.
  • Demonstrate ability to address treatment goals in a creative manner, facilitating optimal progress and skill development.
  • Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and families, using praise and reinforcement to encourage appropriate behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a minimum standard of productivity per established Center policy, adjusting schedule according to fluctuations in workload.
  • Respond to emergency/priority clients, utilizing downtime effectively for documentation duties, self-education, and department projects.
  • Initiate and practice constructive confrontation, exercising discretion in communication with coworkers and supervisors.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification/eligibility (CFY).
  • Mass State License/eligibility.
